Who are we and what do we do?

Boy Scout Troop 33 meets at Wesley United Methodist Church, 500 Leawood Drive, Parsons (5 Blocks North of Braum's) Off Highway 160. We meet on Monday evenings 6:30 p. m. until 8:00 p.m. Troop 33 is an active youth run scout troop, participating in many district and council activities throughout the year. We are heavily involved in the Order of the Arrow. If you are wanting to camp, come join us. We camp as a troop at least nine weekends a year and spend a week at summer camp. We enjoy traveling, camping, canoeing, rock climbing, repelling, skiing and playing laser tag. If the youth in our troop want to do something, we figure how to do it and go.

Thomas, our Senior Patrol Leader, leads the troop with the help of his patrol leader's council. We Currently have two patrols. The Storm, and Flaming Arrows patrols are filled with Middle School age boys and High School freshman and sophmores. Both patrols work together to make Troop 33 the best, largest and most active troop in town. Boys from our troop are leaders in the Order of the Arrow, in the community and in our school system. We work hard and have a lot of fun giving service to our community. Many of our boys reach the highest levels of advancement and become Eagle Scouts.
