Cub Scout Pack 33

Wesley United Methodist Church

Webelos Woods is a yearly camping event. It is a chance for the Webelos to go camping and be exposed to outdoors and prepare them for the adventure of Boy Scouting.  Boy Scout Troop 33 loaned their Scout trailer with all the needed gear for our two night camping trip. The boys learned to set up a campsite and slept two nights in the tents they set up.

The Webelos of Pack 33 participated in JOTA while at Webelos Woods with the help of local amateur radio operators.
Jamboree on the Air
The JOTA is an annual event in which approximately 500,000 Scouts and Guides all over the world make contact with each other by means of amateur radio and the internet. It is a real Jamboree during which Scouting experiences are exchanged and ideas are shared, thus contributing to the world brotherhood of Scouting.
